Hi new friends! I’m Elisa!

I’m a photographer whose mission is to ignite confidence in women. I want to spark a love so deep in yourself that you radiate onto others.

I convinced my friends to let me drag them around town for photoshoots.  I’d search to find beautiful, forgotten places to have photoshoots.  I know at times they thought I’d lost my mind- like the time I convinced them to climb in an old, graffiti covered school bus abandoned in the middle of a field; but I was obsessed with planning these shoots.  I’d help pose them, set up my tripod and jump in the shot also.  I loved how fun, effortless and happy the shoots were.  I saw how beautiful all of my friends were and I especially loved how they’d light up when they saw the final images. I loved showing my friends how beautiful they were when they laughed and enjoyed life.

Today, my “Why” for my love of photography hasn’t changed much.  It’s turned into a gift that I can give; the gift of confidence and pride.  I get to watch transformations occur in real time.

Women walk into sessions, often nervous, perhaps a little self conscious about being scantily clothed in front of me.

They relax as we sit, chat and plan out her wardrobe for the session.  I reassure them that I’m here to help, that they look stunning and they’re going to see that. We turn on some music, sip some champagne, and get started. 

They’re usually a little stiff through the first poses; but then my favorite moment comes- I spot the image on my camera screen and think “This is the one.”  I pause shooting, sit down beside them and say “You’ve got to see this!”.

That’s the moment, the moment the transformation truly begins.  I watch as they take in the image.  I can see there’s still a little doubt, so I encourage them a little more, “Look how amazing you look, you look absolutely gorgeous! Who is that sexy mama?!” I can see them starting to believe it too.

We continue on, moving into our next pose.  With each pose, I can see that them becoming more relaxed, feeling themselves more and more. 

I repeat this process a few more times.  Then I hear the words that I’ve been waiting for, “Wow, do I really look like that?!”

“Yes, girl, you do! “

That’s my moment of pride, the moment during every session that I choke back joyful tears.  I’ve watched a woman transform before me.  I provide beautiful images but I also give the gift of confidence.  The gift of pride. The gift of walking out with a smile and a head held high.
